A good 8 inches of new snow
Light and powdery
Followed by clearing skies
And very bright sunshine.
Lots of plowing and shoveling.
The same people who clear their driveways most religiously
Removed every fallen leaf from their lawns six weeks ago.
Mild temperatures and a few gusts of wind.
